It sure would have been nice not only to raise money but it's also a marketing vehicle.
Even now I can't use directly since I am in Canada. Kickstarter uses Amazon Payments and you need to be a US citizen for tax purposes I think. Kickstarter UK opened this year but not yet for Canada.
