Let others know...

Post by Raf »

Hello everyone,

Good to see people are joining. Hopefully we can get as many as possible to hear about these boards.

To start things off, if you are playing any online multiplayer games, would be nice to make a post with some basic info. Or if you are planning to come back to arctic or looking to try another game and need suggestions/more info... And even if you are not planning on any games, tell us a nice joke, business ventures (Hi Geo!) or whatever you feel like, a simply HI will work too!

I personally have been playing Dark Ages of Camelot (daoc) since the game was released. It's a RvR (realm vs. realm) oriented PvP game, where 3 realms fight each other in control of the frontier castles/keeps/relics. There is of course a PvE (player vs. environment) component too where you can get better equipment and abilities via trials, kill dragons and monsters. You have guilds, many classes and group size of 8.

That's about it, pass the word around!

i'm a little rough on how to use this. hopefully it will let me post this time. anyhow, i'm looking for something new i guess. nobody left of the old timers in arctic except me. i'd love to find something new with people i know. DAOC more info? costs etc, also, i have a tragic feeling i'll never be able to level up to group with friends etc. i'm looking for a new drug people, let's find it for me. i'm still on arctic hyperactively if you want to drop me a line.

Chris you should be able to see and post in all 6 sections... The arctic section has only one thread at the moment.

To get to the top and see the sections Click on: Forum Index

Let me know if you have trouble or can't see all sections...

Hey guys,

Good to see you are all doing well. Currently I'm not really playing much of anything, but have a few weeks of vacation left until the mad rush to graduation (any of you bastards hiring?)

Anyway, I've got an account on FFXI, and it's a pretty decent game. I'd be much more compelled to play it if more of you guys are interested, as it's more enjoyable when playing with friends rather than forming random parties. If any of you want any more information, let me know.

A friend from my daoc guild played FFXI for a month or two but then came back to daoc, I've seen the graphics, very sexeh looking models!

IMO if you get bored of FFXI you should come play with me/my daoc guild, daoc pvp/rvr > other mmorpg on market.

Good luck on a new job Derek, way to go almost to graduation!
